I have a Devicemaster RTS 4 port device, with just one port connected at the moment, set up to be a com port, loop back mode. I'm watching the TCP packets with Wireshark. When a send a byte with putty I can see the send/response of the loopback. But after that is sent, it looks like another message specifying byte count is sent, and it takes about .1 seconds for the Devicemaster to respond with an [ACK]. Is there a way to reduce that response time, or remove the byte count message altogether? It is bogging down a program that is trying to send a lot of data in short packets repeatedly.

Hi Mamcbeth,

I'll need to bring this up to our firmware people for this issue.
Would you be able to send a wireshark screen capture so I'd be able to provide as much info as possible?
Also, what version firmware and driver are you using?

Thanks,
Kurt
